The Trauma Transformation Project

A toolkit for transforming trauma, releasing resilience, and changing lives

Innovative and interactive, the TTP serves both as a comprehensive trauma-to-resiliency training curriculum and as a model for trauma-responsive youth programming. The TTP combines these separate but complementary resources to move beyond short-term interventions and create lasting change. NEW HOPE FOR TRANSFORMING AND HEALING TRAUMA IN NON-CLINICAL SETTINGSThe TTP provides youth-serving adults with the deep understanding, practical skills, resilience-building mindset, effective behavioral-change strategies, and the tools to create a transformative organizational culture. Together these resources disrupt and heal trauma’s long-term impacts and strengthen the resilience that moves traumatized youth from surviving to thriving.

Created with funding from the California Endowment, the TTP has demonstrated its effectiveness in a range of youth-serving settings. Its strengths-based approach grows out of founder Anne Carrabino’s 30 years of hands-on experience with trauma-impacted youth and their communities, both in the U.S. and internationally, including in El Salvador during its civil war.
